This place is super cute, but do not expect a good night's sleep here. You will hear the walking on the floor above you, the conversations of everyone on your floor, and the door closing below you, as this place seems to be made of paper mache. All the doors slam all over the building and you can enjoy having that wake you up at all hours. I was here for an important work trip and got no sleep. I regret staying here. There is also a bait and switch - online I booked the Ballet room, which I was aware was going to be small - but the pictures show a table and chairs. I had to take a Zoom call while sitting on the bed since there is no where else. The actual room is almost too small to open your suitcase on the floor. The location is nice, but if you need sleep, book elsewhere. There is also
It is our second stay. So excited for the location, staff and surroundings. The staff are top notch and attentive. Fresh coffee in the lobby every morning. Victorian style and appeal. Elevator out-of-service, however gave us two days of pastries, fruit and juice for the inconvenience.
We love hotels with history, elegance and charm. We found great staff here. Daniel did his absolute best to accommodate my special needs in every way, as did the rest of the staff. Everyone was helpful and kind. It reminded me of the hotel we had in London. The rooms are laid out so perfectly that it feels like a mini apartment really. And the location just can't be beat! The views of City Hall are impressive both day and night. And the lights of the Opera Plaza and the opera, symphony and ballet houses, all within a very short walk, are simply stunning. This Inn was built in the 20s to provide accommodations for rhe performers of the Opera House. And the Inn has done a wonderful job of maintaining that period elegance and class while still modernizing where needed. (I.e. there were plug-
Positive: Location, rooms, staff and of course the city! Public transport connections perfect! We were visiting for GD 60th Anniversary celebration, so anticipated hiccups, but nothing to complain about.. Negative: ""
Boutique accommodations. Great location. Close to Van Ness and bus line that connects City Hall to the Matina District. Several great restaurants nearby (within walking distance) offering a variety of cuisine and price ranges.
