Inn at Gough

We were a little nervous about how the Inn at Gough check-in process would go this past weekend, based on recent reviews, but it worked perfectly. And the two rooms with shared bathroom was perfect for us (my spouse and me + our adult son). The rooms and bathroom were clean, quiet & stylish, the linens and towels smelled fresh, and the additional living room space adjacent to our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was a huge disappointment for us to stay in, bad service from the owners .

Absolutely worst service ever. I tried to check in using the emailed code for the front door and was told it was not valid. I called the help desk and was told it was to late to check in. It actually says in the reservation email " check in time is 3pm till whenever, check out time is 12pm." Person at the help desk said 1:30 am was to late to check in. It's been two weeks and I have had no resolution regarding the $190.00 I paid for no room. I have emailed them two time and both times they reply " we are reviewing your complaint" This place is a straight up scam. DO NOT BOOK HERE

We had quite a few problems with our recent stay, first we booked through a third company and had no idea that there aren't any in person employees available to speak with, only a screen where you talk to someone virtually. We stood outside to be let in and rang the doorbell several times before having to call the hotel to be let in, once we were let in the woman on the video call tried to charge us again even though we paid for our stay ahead of time, she kept insisting that we hadn't paid. Eventually she got her manager and realized we HAD paid. At this point there was a line of other people wanting to check in waiting outside who were also not happy with how long this was taking. Awful service. Waited in front of the door for 10 min and then waited in front of a machine for another 30 min because they couldn't figure out their tech problem. Not a single person at the desk just machine backed by overseas customer service team. But the system just doesn't work and it's just an awful experience. Will never stay here again.
