Great location. Great gym. Rooms were just fine. But let's face it, the resort fee or destination fee of $35 per day (we paid $105 for three days), if a full blown trashy scam. No, I don't need to do any laundry. I don't need a newspaper. I don't need a BOWL OF SOUP. Be better Hyatt Regency....
This hotel was outstanding in all respects. One of the very best stays in any hotel we've been to. Every part of it seemed new and in very good condition. Our room was large enough so didn't bump into things or another person when moving about. The room had plenty of places to set things down. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a good size, including shower, so didn't feely cramped. Plenty of room for things on the bathroom counter. Hairdryer was first class. The lobby area is large but designed in varying sections so not to feel like a vast space. Has numerous seating arrangements placed so not crowded. Small tables at many seats so can use for work or play games. Entry to building is on a lower level than the one for the lobby which means less street noise and no blast of col
This is a really great hotel that has excellent amenities. There's a bar and restaurant, and a 24 hour fitness center. I loved the pool, and best of all, sauna in the locker rooms. The hotel is also ideally located and I could walk to the places I wanted to visit, the commons, TD Garden, etc.. I also thought the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms probably could use an update, with the shower at least. Very good hotel and experience, I'll likely return next time I'm in town.
I rarely leave reviews, but this stay had a mix of good and frustrating experiences. To start with the positives: the staff were genuinely nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was very clean as well, and the shower had great water pressure. That said, several things about the stay felt outdated or unnecessarily expensive. The TV in the room felt like something straight out of 2001. No Netflix, no casting, and no ability to log into any streaming apps—just the old-school on-demand system. For a hotel charging premium Boston prices in 2026, that’s pretty disappointing. Then there’s the so-called “destination fee.” They try to make it sound like it adds value, but when you actually read the perks it’s basically things nobody asked for—like a $2 discount on a trol
Positive: "" Negative: Yes I dint like the part that the receptionist when I came in at 2 am from the bar. I took a sit in the lobby and ask me if I had a room there . When he already had seen me and my husband and friend come in go out an 1hr before we came back in.
