Hyatt Place San Jose Airport

Good grief. Three nights of sleepless hell here. I picked this place because “sleep quality” was rated higher than surrounding places. NOT so! I’ve got what sounds like a jet engine in my room (and it seems they’re in all the rooms because I switched from my first room because the highway noise was so bad). No idea what it is because it’s not the AC/heat since I turned that off completely and the sound persists. It only seems to be on at night too. And I’m woken from what terrible sleep I do manage around d 6-7 am by doors slamming and anyone in the hallways. You can hear everything through your paper thin door. The bedding is filthy. Just look at the picture. And the pillows smelled… Oh, and good luck washing the shampoo or conditioner out of your hair with their terrible shower heads

The hotel staff are always welcoming and accommodating special needs and requirements. The hotel rooms are well appointed and very comfortable, and always a pleasure to lodge with when away from home. I especially enjoyed my visit to the Hyatt Place San Jose Airport property!

Positive: Very nice room, excellent staff, friendly and very helpful. Negative: No microwave in our room. The coffee in our room could be better. we were surprised there was a charge for the breakfast. Other comparable hotels we have stayed at did not charge. As well as the parking. These 2 items keep me from giving a 10 rating.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Place San Jose. The experience was enhanced by the exceptional customer service, especially from Cecilia at the front desk. She was an absolute gem—incredibly professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. We hope she is recognized by management for providing such a wonderful first and lasting impression!

Looks good in the pictures but there were some concerns here for sure. First was a questionable stain on the bed sheets in the bed, which questions if they wash them or the process they use to wash them. Next the sink took a good 2 minutes to drain after brushing teeth. Rest of the room was fine. Breakfast was okay but had the thinnest sliced bacon I’ve ever seen. All in all, I do not plan to stay here again.
