Hyatt Place Richmond/Arboretum

I booked through a third-party. There was an issue with my reservation. The man working at the front desk was extremely patient and kind. He helped me through the issue and made sure I had a comfortable room to stay in with my dogs. I had been having one of the hardest weeks of my life and his kindness meant more to me than I can express. The room itself was spacious and clean

Positive: The staff was so very kind! Everyone we came across. Breakfast was excellent (might need another waffle maker!) Was a bit dated but very clean nonetheless. Negative: The bathroom was very tight and the sink outside the door was a bit odd. Only one working elevator so we took the stairs a lot.

I stay at this hotel every couple of weeks for work and I’m really happy with it. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and it’s in a peaceful location. Not noisy or anything. They also have a free breakfast which I always really enjoy. Parking is $9 which is the only downside, but this is still my go-to hotel. The front desk staff is always really helpful both in person and over the phone!

Very satisfied with my stay. Friendly front staff. Nice big room with a very comfy bed. Right across from my meeting so I didn't have far to go and lots to do in the area! I have to return multiple times so I will probably choose to stay here each time due to my positive experience!

Place was clean and staff was nice; the bed in our room was quite “broken down “. It took a while to check in because no one was at the front desk for some time. Later during our visit, the fire alarm went off and none of the staff seemed prepared for how to handle the situation.
