Hyatt Place Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga

Rooms & Hotel to undergo renovations soon. Currently only 1 working elevator that will be fixed during the planned reno. Customer service and management are AWESOME.. Great location, close to airport, mall, and many restaurants

Really really slow WiFi was unable to get work done on my laptop, hotel phones don’t have a front desk number to call. Front desk took 20 minutes to pick up the phone number on Apple Maps. Really unprofessional front desk, I asked politely as to why it took so long to pick up the phone, I was not even put on hold so I felt like it was a reasonable question, the response I received was, “ I was in the restroom, would you like to ask next what I was doing in there?” I did not need that smart remark back as I was just curious why it took so long. I’m out here for business and let me tell you! It’s so nice to feel right at home away from home! Do better Hyatt, this is not worth the price I paid. Better off at a best western or Hilton.

Moldy Shower and a Cut to My Foot! Our recent stay at Hyatt Place was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we were informed that one of the elevators was out of service. This made a significant difference in wait times, and because of the delays, we often chose to take the stairs instead. When we entered our room, we immediately noticed a stained couch. After settling in, we attempted to adjust the temperature, but it seemed impossible to control. The thermostat remained at 73°F while the AC ran constantly, leaving the room freezing cold and making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. TL;DR: Clean, comfortable stay with great staff and a solid location—rooms could use a refresh, but overall a good experience. I stayed at the Hyatt Place Ontario / Rancho Cucamonga and overall had a really solid experience. The staff was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out, which honestly goes a long way and set a positive tone for the stay. The location is convenient, especially if you’re in the area for work or need easy access to nearby shopping, dining, or the freeway. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and everything worked as expected. That said, the room did feel a bit dated. Nothing was broken or unusable, but the furniture and overall design could definitely benefit from an update to match the standards of newer Hyatt Place locations. All in all

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the airport, yet surprisingly quiet with no aircraft noise. There are plenty of outlet stores and dining options nearby. Although the room facilities are a bit outdated, they’re very clean. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The only downside is that there are too many mirrors in the room, which can feel a bit disorienting.
