Hyatt Place Detroit/Novi

Quiet, clean and friendly. The hotel was convenient to our conference and to outside shopping and restaurants during our off time. The beds were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and responsive. It was a good trip.

I was disappointed with our stay here on January 3-4. When we arrived at the front counter to check in, the attendant hardly greeted us as she had headphones in and appeared to be on FaceTime or watching videos. She did not inform us when check out was, or what time breakfast was available for the next morning. Our room was clean, pretty standard for a Hyatt. At night the room was either freezing or extremely hot as the thermostat was at the other end of the room and it had a hard time regulating the temperature. The bed linens were horrible since it only included a top sheet and a thin quilt like blanket. We were cold all night and had to use the bath towels as extra weight and layers for warmth. The breakfast was AWFUL; the "eggs" were a dry cumbly mess, potatoes were basically uncooked,

I cannot begin to explain how awesome the staff is at the Hyatt Place in Novi. I stay here frequently and everything is always top notch. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is excellent and the staff is always friendly. On a recent trip, I had to make arrangements at another hotel, when that didn't go well, I reached out the staff at the Novi location and they went above and beyond to take care of me. Highly recommend!

Positive: Check in was a breeze, probably the fastest I've ever checked in. Staff was friendly. And the free breakfast which is a must when we travel with 2 16yr old baseball players Negative: Bathrooms could use an update. I mean who uses a tub in a hotel anymore.

Thanks to Aaron and his outstanding team, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the Hyatt Place in Novi. I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. With its many amenities, combined with its adjacent location next to the Suburban Showplace, it clearly provides an excellent high-value option for both business and vacation/weekend customers. The entire super friendly staff ensured an outstanding customer service experience during my stay. While attending a trade show next door, I was also able to also enjoy the indoor pool and abundant local shopping offerings. Several quality food and beverage options are onsite, including one with a huge outdoor fire place fun for social gathering and adult beverages.
