Hyatt Place Dallas/Plano

Stayed for 5 nights for personal reasons. Room was nice, a little dated like common area but nice room layout and clean. Best part of stay was housekeeping throughout. Breakfast was adequate and wish they had coffee available later in the day and not just at breakfast. I normally expect a bit more under the Hyatt brand.

Room was clean and comfortable. I fixed the toilet in our room the flapper was off. No big deal. Breakfast was really good and a lot to choose from. We got fresh towels and room service second day when we where gone witch was nice. Hotel was clean and prob one of the nest I've stayed st in a while.

You get what you pay for. ||||Cons:||- Saw breakfast kitchen staff pour an unknown glass of orange juice on the breakfast counter back into the orange juice jug. Really had us questioning the hygiene standards.||- bathrooms (irrespective of which floor room was on) were REALLY small. The sink was outside the washroom.||- No amenities given (no robe / slipper / or anything else beyond just soap)||- We couldn’t use the meeting room for large gatherings later in the night. We really wanted to be quiet but spend family time together and the lobby was a good compromise but it was hard to continuously stay super quiet ||||Neutral: ||- Rooms only spacious on 6th floor. We were a part of a wedding block and had requested all rooms be on the same floor. This was not the case however front desk Deon

It is not the representative's fault, but that was horrible. She was the only one working tonight. I booked a 2 double bed with a sofabed, and I only got a king bed with a sofabed. I didn't really care about the bed count that much but yeah that wasn't acceptable. I then ask for an extra blanket. She gave me a blanket with a roach on it. Didn't realize there was a roach on it until I got into my room. Got to my room the roach came off the blanket and also there were some bugs on the floor. I said heck nah. I booked another hotel nearby. She wasn't authorized to give me a refund, so i will call back the next day. Elevators also I swear had Casper the ghost using the elevators. UPDATE: They were only able to give me a refund back for 1 of the 2 nights because I “checked in”. The time betwe
