The staff were very helpful and kind. The beds were comfortable and the room was the perfect size for a couple. The location was also very convenient. We were looking for a budget hotel at the last minute for a one night stay, but even with a larger budget and on a longer trip, I would choose to stay here again.

Can't imagine how this motel has a 4.7 star rating on Google. Pictures on the website don't reflect reality at least not as far as our room was concerned.||We had a "double room with a private bath."||Here are the positives: Updated faucets, sink and counter. Newer mattress that seemed extra firm. Recently painted walls. ||Now for the negatives: Over all the room was very small . There was ripped worn carpet. There is no closet or place to hang clothes - not even a hook. The very old heater would overheat the room and then didn't cycle again for almost 2 hours allowing the room to get cold. Hot water that was barely hot enough to take a shower. There is no wifi. Television had very limited channel selection - (i.e. what normally comes with basic cable: lots of shopping shows, very old reru

Maggie in the office was very professional and helpful. Any questions or concerns she answered. She was very prompt with our needs. For the price, cleanliness and location I highly recommend. We will be back. This was already our second stay of this year.

This little motel was perfect for what I needed. It was clean, the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It was on the main road, in town, by everything. So convenient! I will definitely stay again.

Stayed here one night on a jaunt through the Upper Peninsula. Prices were very reasonable, so much so I wondered about the rooms. I need not have worried, the room was clean, had everything needed for a pleasant stay and bed was very comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful in general and with local recommendations. Biggest surprise was that the free coffee on the lobby was really good, not necessarily expected in a small motel lobby for free. Highly recommend in all counts!
