Huntington Motel & Cottages

Bruce & Scott were VERY friendly! Such a nice down to earth place to stay! Honestly the highlight of my trip to the Adirondacks! Definitely recommend! Cottages are very cozy, great night sleep! The privacy of the cottages is definitely an upside! Beautiful view of Whiteface Mountain! If you are down to earth like us, you will definitely enjoy your stay here!

I stayed here with my family in a cottage. It was a notch down from what I had expected. Granted, $75 a night is pretty cheap but...I was a bit let down. There is no air conditioning so be prepared if it's warm, it got a bit hot. No fans either. The windows were very difficult to open and were very loud to move. The curtains didn't cover the windows. The shower had a polished cement floor, but was clean. The shower head was inadequate. The beds were not particularly comfortable. The road noise was very distracting, especially if you want an afternoon nap or a semi truck barrels by at midnight. The pool water was relatively clean but could have used some skimming. ||||All in all, for $75 a night this place is cheaper than lots of places. But you get what you pay for. I don't think any work

Great place awesome customer service!

It was my first stay in Wilmington and I liked it. ||Huntington motel was one of the first Wilmington motels built and stayed in the same family.||It was nice and clean.||I enjoyed a conversation with its owner Bruce who was willing to share a bit of local history with me.

Room was musty. No outside lights. Very neglected property. Price of $92.00 a night was way too steep for what you got. After seeing room we opted not to stay here and forfeited the room rent for two nights and found another place to stay. Very few places to eat in area. Needed 48 hours to cancel without forfeiting room rent. It did have cable tv.
