Huntersville Inn & Suites Lake Norman

Stayed at hotel for a weekend boat trip. Hotel staff was amazing and hotel and was well kept. My family and I would definitely come back. Breakfast needs more variety but still did the job.

I was taken aback a little by the outward appearance. They are undergoing renovations. The rooms which had been updated were nice and comfortable although there was a slight stuffy scent upon entering the room. A washcloth and towel each had a small mark/smudge on them. When I called the front desk someone came immediately with a fresh clean set. Overall I was pleased with our stay. The staff was friendly and responsive.

I am really shocked and saddened by the negative reviews. As an avid business and family traveler this place was top notch if you ask me. It’s a four points, not a four seasons. It was modern, clean, perfect small gym, indoor pool, restaurant. Best part was comfy bed and sheets and the bathroom toiletries were perfect. ||Izzie at the desk was wonderful and helpful. ||I would 100% return. You’re not coming here to have a lavish stay, it’s clean, comfy and perfect for what it is.

Staff were very friendly. Worst beds we have ever experienced in many years of travel. Mattresses felt broken down and had no support. Mattress pads were merely lying under the sheets and moved and bunched around all night long. Could barely wait to check out and find real beds with support for a normal night’s sleep. We were in room 132 - maybe new beds will be provided for future guests.

I wanted to share my wife’s terrible experience that occurred with this establishment. I booked her a hotel for her and a friend and this is what transpired:||I was so excited for my stay on Tuesday 10/22/24, which unfortunately did not happen. My friend and I who had a girls trip planned showed up to the hotel at 5:30PM ready to check in and get ready for the night.
