Best Western Plus Huntersville Inn & Suites Near Lake Norman

King bed mattress lumpy. Pillows (3) felt like they were stuffed with yesterday’s popcorn. Not all the outlets worked. Not all the lights had light bulbs. Heater worked good. TV worked. Microwave worked if you plugged it into another outlet. Bathroom looked dark. Stains in the uni-tub shower. Toilet seat was loose and made for a crazy ride when going to the bathroom. I told my wife not to use their soap and shampoo and today she’s complaining about itching. We had three Kleenex. The shower bar was pulling away from the wall. There was an altercation with the staff and a customer about fraud, the police showed up. I can confirm another review about the juice machine, it still dispenses any and all juice selections all over the machine a counter top. Vending machines are extremely expensive.

Huntersville, Lake Norman, NC -Pros The room was clean, the AC/Heat unit worked. The Staff and service was nice. $20 fee for pet, but no designated area for pets to walk. The elevator was not noisy. The refrigerator was larger than expected. The microwave worked well. . Cons- Atmosphere from the 80's. Continental Bkfst - coffee machine - make your selection- and it was awful. The grits and oatmeal were in packages and add hot water. Noise level- near hwy noisy. Had to pay a $100 room security, which they said they would refund on Credit Card in 2 days. No phone in room, maintenance brought us a phone, when asked why we did not have one, he said guests stoled them! The bathroom was small.

Positive: Breakfast was good. The pool looked good but too cold out to use it on my trip. Negative: The bed was awful. It was sagged in the middle so I had to sleep on the edge to keep my back straight.The entrance to the hotel is a very sharp incline with tight corners to get out back.

Stayed here overnight while on a two-day trip because we had our dogs and they have a good dog policy. Reviews were mixed but it was only for one night so we booked it and hoped for a positive stay. We had a really disappointing stay. First, the desk clerk had company and was not too welcoming but they checked me in quickly and adjusted my rate when I mentioned the dogs. We immediately noticed the door to the room looked like it had been pried open at some point and when we unlocked it, we saw that it didn’t latch shut or lock when closed. Before asking to move, we fussed with it and found that we could get the latch to catch if we lifted the door up a bit when closing it. My stay at Best Western Huntersville was absolutely wonderful! The entire experience was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. I want to give a special shoutout to PK, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. He’s such a polite and hardworking gentleman — his room cleaning service was excellent, and his friendly attitude made me feel right at home. The hotel also offered a great variety of breakfast options every morning, and the wake-up call service was always on time, which I really appreciated. Overall, this has been one of my best hotel experiences — thanks to PK and the entire Best Western team for their outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!
