Hotel Triton

Very nice nice hotel in a great location. Chinatown is fight across the street and within walking distance to the Moscone Center. Rooms are nice, a bit older but always clean and comfortable. I've stayed at this hotel 6 times now and have never been disappointed.

My trip to SF was meant to be flying in and out the same day… because of delayed flights, I had to find a place to stay for the night last minute. I found this GEM of a boutique hotel, and it was so nice that I ended up staying over the weekend and enjoy the city for a bit. Everyone I have met that works here are so welcoming and friendly. Alice at the front desk treated me like a royal when I needed it the most and made sure I always had everything I needed. It was a cute place and the staff was incredible! Our room did have a staunch that was underlying and we finally figured out it smelled like cat urine. The shower looked worn, but felt amazing! The outlets worked but most plugs fell out easily-they were “loose”. Overall a great place-we walked everywhere once we parked our vehicle.

Positive: The staff at the hotel were very attentive and helpful. Negative: The bed wasn't that comfortable, there weren't enough pillows, I could hear guests in other rooms either above or next door.

Stayed here for a work event. The lobby is well kept and service was great. Location worked well for me. However, I really struggled to sleep with the constant late night street noise through thin windows and felt uneasy that my room door didn’t include a deadbolt or peephole cover. For those reasons, I would not stay here again. Also, the refrigerator in the room was warm. Water pressure in the shower was terrible. Some of the outlets had pieces missing and only loosely held plugs - this seems like a basic maintenance item yet multiple reviews mention it. Carpets throughout feel dingy and dated. Breakfast isn’t worth the stop. Overall, the resort fee they charge is a total ripoff.
