Perfect for what I need! I’m in town to see a concert at The Chapel down the street. Just needed a nearby place to crash before catching my flight in the morning. The reviews made me nervous, but it’s really not that bad. I recently stayed somewhere in Pittsburgh with no hot water. Rest assured, the water gets hot here! I personally lucked out and was given a room in a far corner away from city noise. Be prepared for a small space, stains everywhere, and a funky smell. You really can’t beat the location, though. Plenty of food options within walking distance— Mexican, Italian, Indian, and more. I enjoyed Mission Dolores Cemetery and Alamo Drafthouse before check-in, both about a 10 minute walk away. Over all, better than expected. I’ve already booked my next stay here.

Positive: Initially ideal as this Location was a couple blocks from my barber, favorite coffee spot given that my arrival time from SFO was 11:15pm, after a full day at work in Los Angeles Negative: I’m not rude to hotel staff, or anyone but I I thought it was unprofessional that bc i cut my hair, that I was impersonating myself. He claimed that *someone else that looked like me claimed my room. After being denied, At 12 am I had to book elsewhere

I did. It go there having any good expectations since I wanted the cheapest price, but it didn’t mean I didn’t want the bare minimum. The room was so small, I had to bend my head in order not to hit the hanging TV because the wall was so close to the bed. The TV itself was so high on the wall, it was no fun at all watching TV especially sorting so close to it. TV had bad quality picture. But let’s get down to the most important thing: sleeping. ||The bed mattress was the worse bI would have rather sleep on bare floor (if there was room) instead of that mattress. It was so cheap, I would sink right the middle from last of support; it was like sleeping in a water bed. And the lack of edge support also made it very hard to sit on the edge because you will start falling out as soon as you sit,

You get what you pay for. For the price, the room has everything I need, including a good fridge, microwave, and TV. Too bad the hairdryer in my room doesn’t work. The heater works great for cold nights. There’s no elevator, but it’s acceptable for a three-story hotel. It’s just a five-minute walk to all transportation. A very basic hotel, but all the facilities are functional.

Although the rooms were clean, this hotel was tragic and the service sucked. First, there wasn’t a do not disturb on the door so every morning the maid would knock on the door and open your door at 11 AM. Second they acted bothered to ask for towels. …The hand towels and wash clothes were literally hand shredded towels as pictured. I got it for location knowing it wouldn’t be too great but it exceeded my worst expectations. No smoke alarm, the fan was broken in the room so it was stuffy, the street below is extremely loud with sketchy people drinking on the street yelling at people outside the barber shop. The shower was barely a drizzle and the door opened into the bathroom making it so you’d literally need to climb over the toilet to shut the door. Horrendous! Location was the only thing
