Hotel North Beach

no recommending absolutely to nobody it is not the hotel it is a senior house it smells there in the rooms like piss and disinfection combined. There was absolutely zero help from the reception they even declined my request to change rooms. I just ended up going to another hotel, there was no way anybody saying could stay a night there. The floors in the room were super sticky and everything was dirty, insects in the room. EDIT: just checked other reviews with bed bugs and mices, they are 100% right

I really like this hotel. It's nothing super fancy, but it's well-maintained, reasonably priced and perfectly located. It's historic as well, with cool old photos and memorabilia displayed in the lobby. The rooms on the lower floors are smaller, but would be great for 1 or 2 travelers who prioritize affordable rates and staying in a convenient, exciting location in North Beach / Chinatown over extra space and luxury amenities. Rooms on the top floor are more spacious, with large arched windows and lots of sunlight. All of the rooms have high ceilings, a microwave, closet, towels and basic toiletries. Bathrooms are shared, but there are many of them on every floor so finding an empty one is never a problem. They're cleaned daily, and not gross. I like how they're not all identical in layout

Positive: Price wise. I had a late booking for one day. A flight was missed and I was very stressed . But I was able to find a room for 2 at 66 after tax. The local was great including the night life. Negative: I have to be honest a roach crawled up the door onside the room

I’ve been coming to North Beach for about eight years. I haven’t been back since because they haven’t remodel all the rooms and it smells like stench smell. people live at this hotel like a hostile $1400 a month. always check your room at this hotel before you check in. we checked in are room number 32 broken TV, broken blinds, broken light refrigerator not defrost it. not a lot of towels.. and you have a radiator that comes on winter time. It gets really hot in these rooms if you don’t get a window room gets really hot and muggy. please please help this hotel that gets remodel. Anybody else stay here just be careful. Check the whole room out before you check in.

I had the best day ever! The service was amazing and everyone was so helpful. They made it such a great experience and even helped me find great places to go. The spot was wonderful, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the customer care was top-tier. I truly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent service and a great time!
