Customer Reviews
Amazing place. Great price. Friendly staff. They were always smiling and there is always someone at the front desk who is happy to help. Awesome Coffee machine in lobby. ||I stayed a week then booked another. Highly recommended to anyone. An oasis in the desertscape of the Tenderloin. ||(Short walk away from Onsen, dont miss that experience!)
Hard to believe this place is a four star hotel. Unable to reach the front desk at 10pm (which is not that late) tried both room phone and telephone number and neither worked. Upon arrival the toilet was broken, they did repair it pretty quickly so I appreciated that. The walls were paper thin, to a point where I could hear word for word what my neighbors were saying. Had to use the coat hanger hack to lock my door too, because I was scared of the noise in the hallway. I didn’t mind the small room, the coffee machine in the lobby is nice too, I do wish the breakfast could be better. If you’re a woman traveling alone I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Good and clean room, nice fruit and yoghurts for breakfast! It is in a central location but some of the streets nearby are the man area where the homeless problems are, so you could hear some of the chaos from the room (admittedly only during the day). The reception was always had a staff member on though so I don’t think there would have been a safety issue - having the front door locked and giving guests a key to this might have felt slightly safer though.
The hotel is really nice and swanky. The Christmas decorations are very festive. The mattress provided a comfortable sleep. The staff is very nice especially Moji. The entire staff was very nice and accommodating. Oh did I mention the hotel smells nice 🙂. You also get a continental breakfast and there's free coffee and tea to all day long! I tried my first cup of cappuccino at the hotel and I think I like it 😋.||||There are a lot of activities to do in the area, busy and loud but you would never get bored.||||The only drawbacks are the room was too small for me, I like a lot of space, no refrigerator and no microwave. However there is a microwave on the second floor. Unless you can find a park on the street which is difficult, you have to pay - I believe 35 - to park overnight.. Howev
The location isn't the best but the hotel itself is nice, hip and cool, and shows signs of a somewhat recent renovation. Everything is clean, however, the bed is broken and so are the floor tiles in the bathroom. The shower door leaks water and there are no complementary lotion bottles. The price is good if you're ok with a small room, which I am. The in-house coffee makers in the room and lobby add a nice touch. The walls are very thin and I could hear everything around me, but it's nice they offer you the option of a room facing inward away from the street noise.
