Hotel Boheme

Spent 4 nights here during my last trip to San Francisco. It’s close to so many restaurants and corner stores, didn’t have any issues to get food & snacks. It’s an old hotel that makes you feel like you’re in one of those old American movies! If you’re into vintage stuffs you’d love this place, I almost asked them if I could keep the hotel room keychain haha. They have amazing people working there too, always helped us with everything & answered any questions. You’d have to bring your bags up through flights of stairs though so it could be a little hard if you have big suitcases with you but other than that everything else is great!

I haven’t even been here yet and they’ve proven what a fabulous, service centered hotel they are. I made a reservation online, then called and they very patiently worked with me to determine which one of their unique rooms would be the best for me. Then I called back a few minutes later, because I figured I had reserved the wrong month. 🤪 Triple bonus points for Nick for being so wonderfully helpful. 🙌 My daughter lives near Coit Tower and recommended Hotel Boheme as the best place to stay in the neighborhood. 😊

My wife and I stayed here for a night, while in the city with friends seeing a show. Great location to many wonderful restaurants, theaters, etc., and had an amazing feel, like staying in an old Paris Hotel. We love the essence of the hotel and how it is decorated, bathroom with its vintage tile and fixtures, free 4pm aperitif of Sherry, the room was clean and minimalistic, etc. General Manager Nick and the reception staff are kind and very helpful with any needs/questions you may have. There is a parking garage no more than a block or two away. Highly recommend a stay here! Call hotel directly to compare price with those listed on booking websites, as you may get a better deal. :)

This hotel felt more like what we’ve experienced in Europe and we loved it! The room was small but cozy and the bed was oh so comfortable!! The bathroom was spotless with fluffy towels and quality products. Desk staff were very friendly and helpful, providing recommendations and willing to arrange an early morning taxi service to the airport. |Although located on a busy street, our room & the hotel, in general, was quiet & private.|The neighborhood is a delight. It would be impossible to NOT find incredible Italian food… the choices were numerous!

Hotel Boheme felt like stepping back in time, and we loved every minute of it. The room was cozy, with a charming color scheme and thoughtful decorations that added to its vintage appeal. The bed and linens were exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night’s rest. The hotel sits right on busy Columbus Avenue, where the neighborhood buzzes with both tourists and locals. In the evenings, nearby restaurants often had live music that added to the atmosphere, though it quieted down nicely after 10 p.m. Nick at the front desk was wonderful—friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for local dining and things to do. The location couldn’t have been better; we were within a 10–15 minute drive of all the major attractions, and many great spots were within easy walking distance. T
