Hotel Abri

This is a great location if you would like to hang around union square. This was my second stay here, and both times I used the wine discount! It’s a good deal, free valet and a bottle of wine with your stay. Really an enjoyable experience, check-in was easy both times, and they actually let us in a bit early on day which was amazing and so helpful for our stay. The other time we got upgraded and it was great! The lobby is awesome and valet is very quick. The location of the hotel worked out perfectly for the events we were attending.

The true highlight of the establishment was undoubtedly Kevin.||Kevin possesses the rare ability to be both exceptionally professional and genuinely warm without ever tipping into the realm of forced cheerfulness. He greeted me each day with unfailing courtesy, solved minor inconveniences with such efficiency. ||||In summary, hotel abri offers comfort and elegance that is increasingly difficult to find. Thanks in no small part to Kevin’s exemplary service, my stay was thoroughly enjoyable — even delightfully memorable. I look forward to a return visit and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to travelers seeking a refined yet welcoming retreat.||||Bonus - Me and my partner are a lesbian couple and we felt safe the whole time here which was amazing!

Positive: The location is fantastic for access to public transportation! Negative: It was/seemed a bit dated

I was moved 3x and told I couldn’t cancel my reservation, despite having a physical reaction. I’m allergic to cats and this hotel allows animals. My eyes watered and nose ran, when I left the hotel, I cleared up. It’s not rocket science, but management threatened to charge me the full stay if I tried to cancel. So I was stuck, getting poor sleep and feeling awful in the room. The white towels also had hard orange things stuck in them - I had two towels with this. This room was booked for a conference that didn’t list this place allowed animals. All 3 rooms smelled like a mix of old musty antiques and cats. Read the other reviews, they mention a smell too. I really don’t like to be so negative- some of the front desk were very nice and sympathetic, but mgmt was not. It is in a goo

I loved the size and convenience of the room. Comfortable bed, great shower, and great coffee machine. Yet you had modern plugs etc and smart TV. The old with the new. Great place. And the staff Mark and others at the front desk really made it a great time. Thanks Hotel Abri
