This is a great place to stay, with twin beds in the room that were comfortable. I suggest bringing your own pillow and food.

Cozy spot to stay while receiving treatment. Can’t beat the view of the bay and the staff do their best to accommodate and are very friendly. Rooms vary depending on what you need. Handicap rooms have their own showers; regular rooms do not and bathroom and showers are located outside the rooms. Most rooms have the standard 2 twin beds with a mini fridge, cable TV and free WiFi. Laundry room is available upon request at the front desk (free). Free microwaveable meals are available in the evening at the front desk. Can’t complain about staying for free here in SF if you are traveling for treatment. The average hotel stay in the local area runs around $250-$375 a night. Mattresses are a little worse for wear and I recommend bringing your own pillow.

Shaun was a wonderful host. I am very grateful that this is available for those of us that live far away from the medical center. The beds are comfortable and it is always appreciated that food items are available. It's stressful enough to deal with medical issues, but the Hoptel and its staff make it better by providing a warm, comfortable and caring place to stay. Thank you!

Yes, its free. However the pillows are very soft, the beds very hard and the bathroom is around the corner from the room. For an old man who uses the bathroom 6 or 7 times a night and uses a walker, this place is horrible. There is a small fridge we didn't use and no microwave.

Hotel was recently renovated and they are still working on it, but not too much noise. Looks very nice and clean on the inside. Fridge/freezer, microwave, two twin beds, TV, and private bathroom in the room. Good Internet speed on wifi. Each bed has a small table with a lamp, outlet, and USB outlets. Sheets, blankets, and towels are very soft. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean apart from some footprints on the bathroom floor (I think maybe the housekeeper walked on the freshly mopped floor). Definitely can't complain too much for it being free, but here are some things that were annoying/could be added: there are no curtains or blinds on the window (just some privacy film that doesn't block light), the air conditioner doesn't blow very cold air (had to leave wind
