Homewood Suites by Hilton Reading

This is the first-time staying with Homewood Suites in Reading, PA. I opted for the premium suite that sleeps up to 6 people with 2 Queens and 1 King, 2 full bathrooms, including a common area (large space) with sofa and a kitchen island. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Check-in was pleasant and quick; the staff were extremely friendly (especially Assistant GM Kenia F.) They offered complimentary water bottles upon arrival. In the morning, they offer a complimentary hot breakfast: Belgian waffles, eggs, coffee, toast etc. If you're looking to shop or dine-out, there are so many options in walking distance. I would recommend this location without hesitation, and I will definitely return when I'm in town!!!

Great experience at this hotel.|Desk staff friendly and efficient on checking in. Room was great, lovely and clean lots of space and very comfortable. Beds were excellent a great night's sleep. We stayed here 10 days, to explore Pennsylvania. The staff here are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Ryan, the manager was great, taking the time to get to know his guests. He has a great team here. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the state highways. There are many restaurants nearby in walking distance, which is great as only breakfast is catered for here. All in all, would recommend this hotel.

the hotel is in a decent area with shops and restaurants all around but the cleanliness, and functionality of the rooms are gone. Our showers/tubes were broken in both of our bathrooms, we were told to stick a wash cloth into the drain…. Additionally, with 6/7 of us in a suite, some on a pull out mattress, we requested more pillows for comfort ability and was told i needed to be comfortable with the pillows i had in the room. Took 3 calls down and switch in staff to get extra towels/wash clothes to clog the drains. Light bulbs out in a few of the lights in the room, and the windows were filthy with what looks like dirty hand prints. Linens had brown stains on them.

Positive: free breakfast in the morning and it was delicious Negative: clock in time is a bit late

Hotel staff VERY helpful after Booking.com failed date transfer for us. Kenya took charge of problem and in minutes fixed the room reservation issue. Rare do you fund management that can think of the box to help customers!
