Homewood Suites by Hilton North Dallas-Plano

We stayed at Homewood Suites in Plano, TX with our family and found it to be good value for money. The accommodation was perfect for our family—spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The room had a fridge, microwave, stove, and kitchen utensils, which made our stay very comfortable. The hot breakfast served in the morning was a great bonus. The only downside was seeing a roach 🪳 in the common restroom on the main floor, which honestly freaked me out a bit. I was really hoping not to see any in our room—and thankfully, we didn’t. Overall, despite that one concern, it was a good experience and a comfortable stay for families.

I was not pleased with my stay. Upon entering the room, there was an awful smell. The bed was not completely done as well. They had to bring extra pillows for the bed | The remote to one TV was not working and the other TV didn't have one. The handle to the tub didn't work and swirled around. You had to push it hard to get it to work. After calling the front desk, it was finally fixed. Also, our room was never cleaned the entire 3 nights we were there. We asked for towels, but was told there weren't any one day. The breakfast was good and it was a good location. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Positive: Very friendly and upfront staff and the room was awesome. Negative: To far to the elevator dragging luggage. Sorry couldn?t find anything else.

The suites are spacious enough. The look of the outside is more country appearing, then other Homewood Suites, I've stayed in before. The hotel is nice. I do not like that the side entrance has steps. I could not get my suitcase up, on my own. A guy was outside, who assisted. Having a ramp on the side of the steps would be more appropriate.

The rooms, lobby, and dining area were clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I'd stay here again. My only "complaint" is the bathroom lighting and vanity aren't great for makeup and hair when you have more than 1 person sharing the room. Not a major deal, we made it work, but a little extra vanity with an outlet, or a full length mirror somewhere in the room would have been nice.
