I booked and paid in full for this reservation in advance through Priceline. The front desk staff said they were unable to charge “the Priceline card” for the full amount of my stay. They refused to honor the reservation using the typical defense that their screen wouldn’t let them unless I paid more money. ||In this situation, the hotel should ask for proof of payment, get a copy of the receipt then deal with Priceline directly. If Priceline is the problem, they can stop advertising their hotel through this booking website.

I just wrapped up a week-long business trip in Tuscaloosa and this Home2 Suites was the perfect home base. The rooms here are much larger than other hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. Having a full kitchen and a separate sofa area made my extended stay feel way more comfortable and productive. A few highlights that stand out: Fitness Center: As a big fitness guy, I was impressed the gym was spotless and had exactly the equipment I needed for a real workout. Hilton Honors Experience: Using the Digital Key on the app made getting in and out so easy. My stay here was wonderful. I loved the view from my room it overlooked the beautiful lights along the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk trail at night. The room was very nice and clean. The receptionist was amazing. I believe her name was Areahl. She took the time to show me how to navigate the keyless entry system on my phone, which I had never used before. I’m now able to use it with ease. Her patience and Southern hospitality were truly appreciated.

My stay here was amazing. Everyone was awesome to be around. Donald fixed any issues we had inside the room and Cedric was on the ball when the water went out even offering to hand carry buckets up to our room so we could flush the toilets. ALL the lady’s working the front desk were super helpful with my stay as well! I wish I knew everyone’s name but they ALL deserve a raise!
