SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tuscaloosa

The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was really good. We were there for a Bama football game. As we knew next to nothing regarding transportation to the game, the front desk gave us a card to call. It must have been his buddy because we tried to call it and it was very unprofessional. We drove our own vehicle to the game. I would have given three stars because the staff is running their own day care apparently. Several infants belonging to the staff were behind a curtain for a makeshift nursery. They also fed the kids breakfast here. This was on a Saturday morning. Even one of the kids was riding on the cleaning cart of her Mom on our floor. Not a good location also and the rates were too high for this place. Our friends would stay here again but I would not

Our last stay at this hotel will be our last stay at this hotel! There are a number of issues with this property. Some can be associated with its operation and others with the building itself. Let's talk about the building itself, first. This property does not have a covered portico for guests who are temporarily parking to check in or when checking out. You can imagine the problem this creates when it is raining. This glaring omission is not the fault of the current staff rather it dates back to when the plans for this property were approved. Not an easy fix...other than not coming back to this property. Another challenge of this property is proximity to the highway. Road noise is always a factor when choosing a hotel and this factor ought to be carefully considered, especially if you'

Positive: Very well laid out room. Negative: The shower head/water pressure was awful. The comforter on the king bed was not the proper size and just barely covered the top of the bed. The air conditioner blew right on the bed!

The rooms were clean, modern and well stocked. The beds could be a little more comfortable but still nice. The staff was polite, professional and nice! The complimentary Breakfast was standard but fresh and well presented! There is Doordash available as well as Lyft in the area. Nice choice of restaurants near by as well. Definitely would stay here again.

Good location near the highway. Rooms were clean but had a bit of wear and tear with a loose toilet and the door didn’t close all the way. Friendly staff at the front desk.
