Home2 Suites by Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port

We stayed 9 nights. Family of five. It was our vacation base. We had a car. 15 minutes to Hollywood Beach. Everything was great. Only negatives were the pool not being heated and 1 of 2 elevators not working, which meant long waits. Good service, good breakfast, clean rooms.

Positive: Location Negative: Better linen, linen smelled like it had been on the bed a while, room needed airing out, linen should be fresh!

We are here now and the rooms are disgusting. We got in late so it was dark in our room. When we woke up I noticed pieces of bacon all over the floor and what I thought to be a bleach stain on the carpet was actually a pile of sand. It is obvious the floor was never vacuumed. I now can’t get out of my mind whether the sheets I slept on were clean. The room was freezing when we walked in so we turned the thermostat up and the smell from the unit was disgusting once the air came out. Definitely overpriced for the quality. I would definitely spend the extra money for a better hotel. Definitely disappointing for a Hilton property. Hilton should disassociate with this hotel.

The hotel advertises complimentary shuttle service from airport. What a joke! First shuttle was full. At which point the driver could have told us it would be an estimated 2 hour wait due to the number of people on the waiting list. Instead we were told by the driver she will be right back. An hour later she arrived but the shuttle was full. So we took an Uber. Received phone call a few hours later to see if we still needed a shuttle. The room smelled so gross...smoke, mildew room 527. Allergies while staying there were full blown during our brief stay. Pool was freezing. One of the elevators didnt work. The other elevator was slow. Only a few restaurants were within a walking distance that you could walk to safely without having to cross lots of traffic...and we are not talking nice res

I had such a great experience at the Home2 Suites by Hilton! The front desk staff were amazing — super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Check-in was fast and easy, and they made me feel right at home.|The shuttle service was also fantastic! The driver was on time, polite, and helped me with my bags. It made getting to and from the airport totally stress-free.|My room was clean, spacious, and super comfortable, and I loved having the little kitchenette setup. Breakfast was fresh and had plenty of options.|Overall, everything about this stay was excellent — I’ll definitely be coming back!
