Holiday Lodge - McAlester

Lady at front desk was really nice. I knew for the price the rooms would be older and need upgrades. Was just me so didn't mind being older. The room was clean and have no complaints about it for the price

It’s a really nice spacious room. Looks like they have Newley renovated room with new flooring, big tv and fresh painted. Staff is really helpful. Nice and quiet away from hiway noise. Chillis bar and grill is just walking distance from hotel. When ever we coming back to town, we will definitely stay here again. Room was nicely cleaned. They have really bright parking lot during night time.

Room had a funky smell water took ten minutes to get warm so if you don't like cold showers then you will wait forever to get hot water tub had a hole which it looked like dry wall patch to fill it in all kind of different bugs in lights fridge in room didn't work

It's an older hotel, do expect that, outdated, but very clean. The room was obviously clean, the sheets fresh (not something you can always count on when your looking for a bargain and have two dogs).The employees were super nice. And for $48/night, plus only $10 per animal, quiet, and clean, it's a bargain. I have left hotels before just because something as simple as fresh clean sheets weren't available. I won't give a 3 star simply because it's outdated, everything else makes up for it.

In my Business travels, usually stay at one or two star motels. I'm not one that needs a bunch of fancy stuff, just a clean room and a comfortable bed to sleep in. When I arrived, a young lady by the name of Kitty greeted me. She was very courteous and professional. I always ask to look at the room before I actually pay for it, and she was very accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The room was large and nicely painted. The flatscreen TV in the small couch and coffee table was a nice touch also. Being negative about my stay, was slow Internet. My stay was pleasant, and I will be back. If Kitty is there when you stop in, tell her Kirnan sent you!
