Holiday Inn Staunton Conference Center by IHG

We stayed here over Thanksgiving, 2025. The facility permits dogs. We were placed on the 3rd floor but due to the landscape one can exit with their dog at the far end (from the elevator) onto a doggy relief area. The grounds were free of pet waste so they either attract "good citizens" or hotel staff polces the grounds. This is not always true of dog friendly establishments. There is a breakfast buffet for a charge. I ate there one morning and found it acceptable. It even included fresh fruit. We would both stay there again.

Very accommodating and friendly. I had a hotel room booked at the Quality Inn Radford and they wouldn't let me check in after I had a room booked and paid for a couple of weeks in advance because it was late and they were already onto the next days business just after 11:30 at night. I was traveling for Thanksgiving to Charlotte NC and wanted to split the trip up since I was traveling at night. I wasn't expecting to get hit with travel delays and the Holiday Inn Staunton came through with no problems and I had a room within minutes. IHG properties will continue to be my go to when booking hotels in the future.

We booked rooms for my niece's wedding in June at this Holiday Inn. Upon arrival we were checked in and I informed them that my two grandson s would check in later that evening. I had 3 rooms booked for the weekend. When my grandsons checked in they were given the wrong room by mistake (someone else was already in the room. Lucky for them it was their aunt and uncle!!!!) I was upset about the mistake and relieved that | my grandsons were not harmed in anyway.||I spoke with management about getting a credit for one night but I have not heard from them. I have been ghosted.||All in all, the rooms were clean, had a beautiful view of the mountains, had a wonderful time at my niece's wedding.

We arrived late after a long ride and traffic for an unexpected stopover on our way home from Georgia. Luckily we were still able to get dinner and drinks to relax after a long day. All of the staff members were excellent and friendly. The bartender was great and the drinks were excellent. Although I don't usually have dessert, the banana bread pudding was the best I have ever eaten. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was an excellent choice for a stopover as it was right off an exit on 81.

Everything was beyond great except that they double booked our room and someone walked in on us. They gave us 2 free breakfasts - yet we had 3 people in the room. Doesn't make sense. It wasnt our fault they double booked our room. It wasn't 3v3n busy.
