Hotel 24 South

This has been our second stay at Hotel 24 South and I remain impressed. Friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, a great location and all at an affordable price. We have stayed the night after attending The American Shakespeare Center for a performance, and plan to make it a regular occasion. The Center is mere steps away from the Hotel front entrance and parking is convenient too in the adjacent garage and free on the weekends!

This is a beautiful hotel and the location is very nice, close to many restaurants and Mary Baldwin. The rooms are very nice and the bathroom is big. The breakfast buffet is good, love the bacon and all the fruit. This place is very cozy place and nice place to walk around outaide.

Positive: A beautifully restored early 1900’s hotel and so convenient to everything. Negative: Yes! The change in the hotel name from Stonewall Jackson to its current name. Erasing history or attempting to by changing names of buildings is censorship of our history,

Stayed there one night and it was a terrific experience. Parking was in a garage that is connected to the hotel so it was easy. The room was everything it should have been and was very clean. We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant rather, we walked across the street to the Mill Street Grill which is always good. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Staunton. Would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel! Room in the old wing was small, modernized, clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable - lovely white bedding and sheets, with great pillows. Bathroom was small but well equipped. Elevator to Parking. Friendly efficient staff. Lovely old town - we spent a long time driving around looking at the gorgeous old homes. Wonderful experience.
