Holiday Inn Express & Suites Staunton by IHG

This hotel was fantastic! It was very clean, modern and up-to-date. Stephanie at the front desk was awesome! She made us feel welcomed and was very helpful in recommending places for us to eat. Our room was spotless and I loved the walk-in shower. Beds were very comfortable. It had a huge TV in the room. It just felt very cozy. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly!

Positive: Quiet, ample parking for a pick up truck and trailer, convenient. Negative: It was obvious that the carpets have NOT been cleaned in quite some time if ever. And the floors don't get mopped because I've never seen a mop and bucket on any cleaning cart. Dragging used towels around on the bath floor is not cleaning.

Most pleasant hotel experience. From the friendly staff, cleanliness and quiet environment, this hotel is fantastic. I've traveled for work my entire adult life and stayed and so many hotels, but this one might be the easiest stay! Convenient to all that you'd need in the Staunton/Waynesboro area. It was a great "home base" as I stayed for a week exploring.

Very clean and nice hotel. We were surprised by a $7 parking fee. Usually only have that in big urban areas certainly didn’t expect it on a quiet stretch of I81. None of the wall lights worked in the room and both USB chargers by the bed were broken. So nothing too bad, but it all adds up.

We booked here because it's the halfway point on our trip. When we booked a room online we specifically a note in the request section, specifically asking for a pet free room, due to allergies. It turns out the online booking system did not transfer the comment to the registration desks system, as when we arrived, we were given a room on the second floor, which was most definitely not pet free. I would like to give a big thanks Stephanie, who made things happen as best she could in a booked hotel. We appreciate her help. Holiday Inn Staunton needs to make adjustments with their systems so that requests like this make it through without frustration on the part of clients and helplessness on the part of the desk.
