The Storefront Hotel

My family of 4 stayed here and had a wonderful experience! Super close and convenient to everything. Dinner, shopping, breakfast all walkable. If you’re staying here in the winter months bring some extra blankets. It gets quite cold downstairs. My only critique is this stay is on street level. We had people peeking in through the glass which is a bit awkward when your kids are playing on the rug. But over all would stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at the Storefront for a long weekend. We had always been curious about this little 'hotel' and were happy we were able to finally book a stay. It was adorable. Very clean and tidy; with a European feel to it. A great location, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. Close to shops and restaurants; a perfect location for the visit. We really appreciated being able to use the parking garage for free - a nice amenity. I would definitely rent this property again, and suggest it to others if they were intested in visiting Staunton.

Super convenient location - easy to walk to dinner and morning coffee. I grew up in Staunton and have wanted to stay here for a while. My only complaint is Staunton street noise … Staunton has to have the cleanest streets based on the daily street cleaner. I would recommend ear plugs and/or something to generate white noise. I slept on the pull out coach and had to pull mattress on the floor and it barely fit due to space and too much furniture (couldn’t open front door with mattress on floor).

What a great place! Plenty of room and everything we needed for a few days in Staunton. It was great to be able to walk everywhere! Fun little shops, great restaurants, Shakespeare Theatre . . . all at our doorstep! Can't wait to go back!

We had the best stay at The Storefront and have already booked another trip! We loved the easy parking in the garage across the street, wonderful location with a multitude of local eateries within walking distance, and the plethora of space inside The Storefront. Everything we needed had already been thought of and the keurig, sound machine, and essential oil diffuser were thoughtful touches Tom that made us feel extra cozy! We can’t wait to return and check out more of the amazing food, drinks, and experiences Staunton has to offer.
