Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tracy by IHG

The hotel is set back behind two gas stations and nothing around it but empty land. It has been renovated and is pleasantly upscale looking. We were greeted by a friendly host. Check in was easy and fast. The two queen beds suite was spacious with modern decor. The bathroom was also updated with tasteful clean look. Beds were soft and comfy. We felt like we were at a four star hotel but better because it came with breakfast. Food were plentiful and delicious. Check out was as easy as checking in. Fast and quick.

While the entrance is set back from the road, this hotel is a great experience overall. Checking in was a breeze and the staff was excellent. I stayed in a King Suite with huge jet tub, and I was not disappointed! The room was very clean, and even the jets to the tub were well maintained. The bed was awesome, with both firm and soft pillows provided 😃. Breakfast was delicious with TONS of options, including pancakes made right in front of you, two kinds of sausage and fresh ground coffee on demand. I would absolutely stay again!

Not a five star hotel, but really nice for us everyday people. Clean rooms, quick check in and out. Staff is very helpful and quickly took care of any requests. Beds were comfortable and control of AC or heat worked quickly and fairly quietly. Would recommend.

Older hotel with an awkward entrance between two gas stations. Had black mold in the bathroom and a clogged tub with visible hair in it. Management was very responsive and concerned when I told them and credited me points, but I feel it shouldn't have gotten to this level of gross to begin with. Not in walking distance of much, but there are good restaurants within a couple miles. The room did have a constant fan option, which I much appreciated because the highway is very loud. Overall, I will probably not stay here again.
