Holiday Inn Express & Suites Surprise by IHG

Rooms were clean. Parking easy. Walking distance to Surprise Stadium. Pool area could get crowded when weather warms up. 24-hour coffee available. Would appreciate soft drinks and not running out of bananas in the morning for late risers. Special shout-out to PHIL. He was constantly cleaning and was very personable ... helping guests with requests. Front desk staff was professional and friendly as well. Thanks for a good stay!

While we always expect a certain quality from Holiday Inn Express hotels, and they usually deliver, this one exceeded our expectations in just about every way. The entire hotel was immaculate, including our room. The beds were comfortable, and the room was so CLEAN! Spacious bathroom, desk space, and everything you would hope for in your hotel room. We planned to stay one night and move closer to the Phoenix airport on the last night of our stay, but ended up staying here two nights because we didn't want to move and risk not finding someplace so nice. We walked quite a bit both days, and this particular location was near a very pretty pond/activity area, and the baseball park. Lots of great walking destinations! Check-in felt almost instant smooth, efficient, and handled by staff who were both warm and professional. The stay itself had that rare nothing to complain about feel: spotless room, calm atmosphere, and everything worked exactly as it should. Breakfast was a real perk fresh, filling, and a great start to the day and the quiet street meant we slept through the night without any outside noise. For the price, the comfort and service were outstanding, and I’d gladly book again.

The staff was so helpful and friendly. We used most of the amenities available during our stay and none were short of amazing. The pool and spa were beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety each day (even different options each day to keep it fresh!). The gym was comfortable and clean. And our room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! I will definitely be a repeat customer here on my next visit to town!

The breakfast staff at this hotel, especially those 4 ladies working on the morning of Jan 9, are AMAZING! They were courteous, helpful, kind, and professional. I interacted with each of these employees and every one was exceptional. The breakfast offerings were yummy and the environment was neat and clean, but for me, the welcoming nature and relaxed atmosphere was what impressed me most. The front desk is responsive, housekeeping has the rooms spotless, and the location is very accessible. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and quiet hotel with an attentive and professional staff, then this Holiday Inn Express is the best choice.
