Hotel service is top notch. Held our bags until we could check in and were very helpful on where to eat, drink and shop. Very clean and secure. The complimentary breakfast is very good as well. Would be nicer if rooms had a couch or regular chair. It is located within short walking distance of pier 39, pier 33(Alcatraz shuttle),fisherman's warf, Ghirardelli Square and Lombard street. Short walk to shopping and tons of food options(must try Fog Harbour Fish House) great value

We had an amazing weekend in San Fran and it all started with checking in here. The customer service is right on, the staff was kind and patient is recommending places to go and places to eat. The house staff we came in contact in were all welcoming every time, our room staff was Lisa Li and she was on top our room. Nothing beats coming back after a long day to a fresh room, we were very grateful for her and the housekeeping staff. The hotel is very clean, the location kept us in a short walking distance to everything we needed, drugstores, Trader Joe's, the Water, the Pier, everything is really close. Beds were very comfy, bathrooms were spotless. Will 100% return!

Stay here on Xmas Eve because was afraid no breakfast place open on Xmas morning. This is my family go-to hotel whenever in San Francisco because this hotel offers complimentary breakfast in the morning. We are not big eater, but it is ALWAYS GREAT to have something before venturing off every morning for sightseeing. The spreads of breakfast are the usual items like oatmeal, pancake, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt and etc. I ALWAYS like Holiday Inn because it is not continental breakfast but both hot and cold items available. This time, I feel the breakfast not as delicious as I used to compared to my last visit in Spring of 2023. Room is spacious and comfortable. Being an Elite Platinum member, I was not granted a late checkout at 4 pm but 1:30 pm which I didn't take up the offer

The location was fantastic. Two blocks walk to Fisherman's Wharf and one block walk to the Powell/Mason cable car turnaround. Besides that, this is a pretty basic hotel. The vallet parking was convenient and professional, but pricey at $65 a day. The room was spacious and clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. The walls are thin and the view was abysmal, looking out on what might be called a "courtyard" but is really just an empty space with a view of other room's windows. I guess there's natural lighting. Breakfast was mediocre but on par for your average hotel. No bacon any of the four mornings we ate there. No waffles, only a pancake making machine. Coffee was freshly ground, but watery. The worst part was on the morning of our check out, noticing the $30 a day charge for "amenit
