Holiday Inn Express & Suites Niagara Falls, an IHG Hotel

Showers get hot hot and has great water pressure. Very relaxing. Sam at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and nice. Beds weren’t too comfy but they are remodeling so maybe that will be upgraded during that time. I would highly recommend staying here!

The stay itself was very restful and quiet. Reception when checking-in was absolutely warm and polite. However, I had a very interesting encounter with the breakfast server on January 1st 2026. I went down to get my breakfast and while picking food from the trays the serving scissors fell. He immediately got up and said " gimme mi dat," and snatched it out of my hand. If you're in the service industry your job is to be service. I was shock and confuse. I wont be staying at this location ever again.

Outside this looks like a nice, modern HiX.|Inside its clearly worn out and in need of maintenance.|Far too many hotels are being run by those whose standards are in the third world...|Dim lighting, rough around the edges, and even the mattress (king size in our room) isn't up to the IHG chain standard. (I stay at IHG hotels because of the fantastic mattress and pillows, this hotel (not surprisingly) decided to save a few bucks and put in some low quality mattress.)|Room window didn't latch properly, so you could hear wind noise and traffic all night. |And, they've found a new way to steal a few bucks by charging $10 to park.|Won't stay again.|Endless apologies by the "management" on this website don't add up to a hill of beans. Positive: Nothing! It is dirty and smelly. Negative: Everything about this hotel needs attention rooms dirty. Dead flies and mosquitoes. Hallway smelly. The carpets dirty. The breakfast area needs cleaning. The fitness room needs cleaning. Basic cleanliness is needed.

UPDATE! after my earlier bad review I now have NO hot water!!!! Barely luke warm after 10 minutes running. I’ve stayed here many times and had no complaints . I’m always in a room with a jet tub as my job is physically demanding and a good soak is very nice after working. That being said, the hot water sucks. The tub didn’t fill and hot water ran out. They blamed that on the fact they were busy. The next night it was fine, then after that was minimal again. Even in the shower I had to turn the pressure almost off just to get warm water to take a shower. I’ll not stay here again even though it is very close to my job site.
