So. The people complaining about the front desk, Tood, I actually really loved him. He was hilarious- a bit sarcastic but FUNNY and extremely helpful to me and the family we were traveling with. I give him five stars. Those complaining may just be uptight or just super tired from traveling. I'd have totes grabbed drinks and a laugh with him. Let me preface that we were traveling with friends who chose the hotel and I'm a bit of a hotel snob. So if holiday inn is your go to, you're probably going to be just fine here. I'm a bit grossed out by hotels in general so tend to be willing to pay more. Our room was fine. Nothing special. Nothing terrible. Just your typical 3 star hotel room. Our friend's room smelled of urine. They were not bothered by it nor did they complain or think it smelled

My family and I booked 2 rooms due to my daughter having a dance competition in Concord. Positives about the stay: Beds are comfy, room was cozy. Staff was horrible. There was one blonde lady when I first checked in that was nice but other than that, the whole staff needs to be replaced. From the lady in the breakfast room that got mad at me for asking if they had cinnamon rolls, which they had the night before and the crumbs were still there. To the maids that were talking about my family when we left. They didn't know I knew Spanish and said some very disrespectful things. I was overcharged $44 when I paid for my room, which I did receive back. And charged $25 per room for incidentals, which my husband has not received back. This is a nice hotel if you are just passing through Charlotte or don't want to stay downtown or near the airport. The rooms were clean and consistent with the brand. The staff was courteous throughout my stay. The area is safe and located on a major road with multiple places to gas your car and eat nearby. I would stay here again if the price is competitive.

We had a very nice stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a nice walking/ biking trail nearby. In walking distance. The staff is very nice and attentive. We plan to stay here again when in the area. Oh, they have a great continental breakfast also.

I should’ve known when we walked in and I needed a key to use the lobby bathroom that we’d probably have issues. Actually, even before, we had called three times to merge two reservations to ensure we didn’t have to switch over rooms and three different times there was absolutely no help. But they were able to accommodate that here at check-in. The breakfast was very underwhelming even for a free breakfast at night she hotel don’t come for pancakes close to closing because they only use one bag per day so if there’s no batter left in that bag, you’re not getting pancake pancakes Biggest thing here is that they are not pet friendly.
