Holiday Inn Express St. Ignace-Lake Front by IHG

Overall our room was nice, the pool and hot tub were open 24 hours which was really nice, the location was great and easy to get to. We had a room with Jacuzzi and really loved it. The room overall was clean, did notice a lot of dead bugs up in the ceiling light fixture but did not see any evidence of unwanted guests if you know what I mean. They had some fresh beverages 24 hours, cucumber water included. My husband and I talked about it being one of our new go to spots just to get away a couple times a year.

View is fantastic. Staff helpful and can arrange shuttle to the island ferry within minutes. Breakfast was maybe a little basic, but certainly good. ONLY thing that would make this hotel any better is a second elevator. Parking also good.

The HI St Ignace is a decent place. Nice employees, good breakfast, clean rooms. Pool is lovely but hot tub jets don't work. I didn't care. Our room has a view of lake Huron. Sweet! Two issues with this place. There is only one set of stairs for the floors. It's a big place. Also nowhere to sit comfortably and read: no soft chairs in lobby or room, and I could hear the TV and the lobby music. Even so, this is a good night rest.

The front desk staff was super nice. They let me decide what floor we had! Our son appreciates being so close to the pool. Also our views of the lake were incredible and we had an awesome time. Good breakfast too!

We were very happy with our stay here. Everything was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The view out the balcony was BEAUTIFUL! The kids loved playing on the beach and it felt so safe in the water since it was so shallow. We were able to go next door to eat dinner but you may have to wait quite a while. The pool was 88 degrees F and the pool 104. Perfect. Breakfast was good too with a full spread and coffee. We also enjoyed the bonfires to meet other guests. The shuttle to the ferry was very convenient.
