Holiday Inn Express Rochester NE - Irondequoit by IHG

The hotel was great and reasonable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were traveling thru the snowstorm on Friday night. I was arriving much later than expected. I call from the road. The overnight desk person, named Robert, said no problem. Whenever you get here is fine. I'll be the one at the front desk when you arrive. Very friendly and helpful put my mind at ease. Room was comfortable but surprisingly cold. We turned on the heat, took a little time but did get up to appropriate temperature. Number 2 the free breakfast was great. Fully maintained by Erica. Food was hot and plentiful. I saw her cleaning up the seating area. Thorough job. The cinnamon rolls were better than average, kept warm and covered so they wouldn't dry out. . Positive: Cleanliness of room and breakfast Negative: Loud highway noise caused disturbances of morning sleep and smell of marijuana upon entering the room. There was an odd musty smell upon entering the room.

🫧🫧 clean!! Hint of bleach in the air. I loved it. The breakfast spread was crazy good hot pancakes machine, yogurt, omelet, two types of sausage, biscuits and gravy, milk , cereal, juice, miffins, bagels...the list goes on and on!!!. All the staff were knowledgeable and helpful and kind. I would highly recommend you stay at this wonderfully clean and nice hotel. Amazing management. Will allow pets

This is a really nice hotel. I am staying here with my company through CLC. The exercise room has a lot of great equipment. The black out material lowered in front of the window gets the room really dark during the day so I may sleep. The air conditioner gets the room cold. The staff I have interacted with are friendly. Just to let CLC customers know, they do not do not require a personal credit card for a deposit unlike the other Holiday Inn I was staying at. It is a bit further from my terminal but with all the great points about this place, it is worth the further drive. I’ll take this stellar hotel any day over some less than adequate motel.

Our family visited this hotel for purposes of an out state youth sport tournament. We were part of a large group and this hotel was selected as part of a “stay to play” 3 day requirement. I’d like to first compliment and acknowledge the manager Erica, who was attentive and accommodating. That being said the impression left couldn’t have been reversed. This is a hotel stay I won’t soon forget so here’s a detailed review. ||During our stay we witnessed two incidents while sharing dinner with the team in the hotel dining area. The first occurred on the first evening of arriving when we requested that the tv channel be changed from the news currently being broadcast because of the content and our children being present.
