Holiday Inn Express Richmond I-64 Short Pump Area by IHG

This hotel was perfectly fine given its location and price. The room was clean and the TV easy to operate. The breakfast was quite good. Free parking and maybe 8 miles from downtown Richmond made it a very good hotel to return to when I visit the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Richmond’s many wonderful antique and vintage shops in the city.

The entire property was spotlessly clean and beautifully updated, creating a fresh and comfortable atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect — truly some of the most friendly and professional people I’ve encountered while traveling. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious options that were hot, fresh, and well-stocked. Amy at front desk was great! Requested an early reservation and she got us in. All the staff were gracious. Room clean and beds comfy. Location- 1 exit from Trader Joe’s. Breakfast was nice too- will be back

Positive: The Breakfast had many choices! It was good and the staff kept warm, clean, and attended. Everyone we met that was part of the staff was so nice and polite. Negative: I wished our bathroom and bed sheets smelled clean besides looking clean. Our bathroom had some spots that needed attention but nothing major that I felt the need to report.

We stayed here 3 nights during our trip to Richmond. The hotel was in a very convenient location for all our sight seeing and getting back to the airport when we were leaving. The breakfast food, while not fantastic, was find by our standards. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable.
