Holiday Inn Express Akron NW - Fairlawn

When I checked in I was greeted by a very nice woman named dawn she was very knowledgeable,helpful, and at the check in time I had friend at Cleveland Clinic Akron and it was minutes away. So most stressful time the woman was extremely understanding and had everything under control!! That person deserves recognition for just being kind and friendly when now days that is a very rare thing thank you and I was able to have my small dog with me just awesome service !!

I have had the pleasure of staying at this property for many years. The property was a Hilton for as long as I can remember. My wedding party stayed there 40 years ago and have been going back ever since. They have changed brands recently to the Doubletree and are in the process of renovating all of their rooms. Love that cookie. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The room was clean and serviced every day. Thanks to the front desk staff, the great bartenders in their beautiful lounge, the restaurant staff and the management staff, our stay was wonderful. Thanks again for a great stay. We'll be back.

The room was nice and fairly clean. The desk receptionist was very professional and welcoming. A good fit for the position. The downside to the room was no microwave to reheat our leftovers. The breakfast assortment was adequate. The coffee is always GOOD !

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Fairlawn and was very pleased with the experience. The room was spotless, the staff was genuinely kind, and the property offered a nice gym and pool that we enjoyed. The complimentary breakfast was average but convenient. The hotel’s location is also very practical for nearby shopping, dining, and highway access. Would stay again.

Staff is friendly and personable. Rooms are clean but they don't do a housekeeping for a two night stay. Not sure why or if I missed something. Overall, I enjoy coming to this hotel. Good value, convenient location.
