Hampton Inn Akron-Fairlawn

Very good room for the money. Everything is clean and well put together. Entire staff has been very nice as well. There is some noise droll being right next to a highway but not as noticeable as other hotels I've stayed at in the past. Havn't noticed any noise from other guests. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room on the East side of the building vs. West. Be sure to take the front desks offer for bottled water. The water from the sink was very white and cloudy. Otherwise, very hard to find anything to complain about.

Stayed at this hotel in the fall bc it was a bit cheaper than the Medina hotel I usually stay. Never again. It had a strange smell. All the public area tvs were set to Fox News. My room tv (and I’m guessing they were all like this) turned on straight to Fox News. The exercise room tv was set to Fox News and no remote available to change the channel. Only plus side was the staff were nice.

First thing we noticed the smell was amazing not just the main check in area the whole hotel A+++ also the fact that even the elevator was clean AMAZING not to mention the pool area also A+++ I believe it was saltwater very nice. The beds amazing very comfortable, bathroom large and bright LOVE IT then the staff OMG Wonderful and very pleasant every ounce of staff was very polite. The food good amount to choose from Hot and Cold items also delicious COFFEE always fresh Hot Pot! If by some chance you decide you can’t sleep and want summer coffee they will make you a fresh pot just ask. All in all 10/10

Our newly refurbished room was clean and in good condition in every respect, ditto the common area downstairs. The beds were fine, nothing to write home about but we slept well. We appreciated the plentiful power plugs throughout, and the night light in the bathroom. Room lighting was a bit harsh it did the job. Desk staff evening and morning were friendly and efficient. This is a basic hotel, strictly adequate in every respect; not sure it's entirely worth the room rate we paid (nearly $200 with taxes and fees), but that's the market.

Very clean and modern hotel. The shower water wasn't the hottest and the Breakfast room is very small. The pool and gym room are an plus.
