Holiday Inn El Paso Airport by IHG

I stayed here for over a month for work. The staff were amazing. The GM Rachel always took care of me for anything I needed. The Bartenders Karla is one of the most amazing people I have met while being down there. The cook Myto makes the best breakfast! Everyone on staff there is super friendly and made me want to come visit again.

I was traveling with my family when we called customer service to book a reservation. They highly recommended this hotel near the freeway, but it turned out to be a disastrous choice. The rooms were filthy, the pillows had a strong smell, and the couch was completely disgusting with all kinds of stains. The carpets were dirty, the beds were unmade, and the list of issues went on. Honestly, it was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Even places in other countries with tighter budgets offer better service and cleaner rooms. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all! If you don’t believe me, go ahead and book a room yourself—you’ll see what I mean. Otherwise, avoid booking a stay here; you’ll thank me later.

Luariel (I probably misspelled it) was the embodiment of genuine customer service. From check in, to check out, and all 7 days in between she was kind, friendly, helpful and overall just made the experience great! The morning breakfast staff also were attentive and very pleasant. Kudos to this holiday inn! I’ll be back!

I typically have no issues with HI and find them a reliable hotel chain. This one is well below any other HI I have stayed at. The bathroom was dirty with urine on the toilet seat at check in. The doors had a thick layer of dirt and grime. The flooring and couch had major stains on carpet. Structural issues with flooring - there was a spot I would sink about an inch when stepping in the middle of the floor. The TV did not work. There was no desk chair, the one they brought was broken. The gym did not have yoga mats. The restaurant food was good, but slow. I waited 50 minutes for a breakfast burrito. Breakfast is not included at this one. The staff was friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The microwave was propped up by a used water bottle cap. It felt dingy and old.
