Hilton San Francisco Union Square

Our room and view was exceptional. Service was awesome from check in with CHE who is professional and friendly. FELIX helped us out with some essentials we forgot. Also, herb n kitchen ladies were awesome, they got us some candles :)

The hotel was handily placed in order to get around the city. Room was comfortable and quiet. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day The food takeaway in the lobby had plenty of choice Overall very enjoyable

I would’ve gave less start but the manager, Ryan, saved the day. I chose a specific room for my trip through the Hilton app and when I arrived after the 3 pm check in time, my room wasn’t ready. The front desk worker wasn’t accommodating in figuring out when it would be ready. He tried to book me in rooms that weren’t comparable to the one I chose. I eventually decided on one just to get in a room and it was not good. The bed sunk in so bad when I laid down and dust came up. The bathroom was no better. There was rust and more dust. Thankfully Ryan, was very helpful and saved our experience. He was apologetic for the service we got and made sure our stay was much better and in a better room.

Very mixed feelings on this property - The room itself was nice, but the hotel has an odd feel to it. Of course it’s well documented how bad union square has gotten , but inside the hotel it’s almost like experiencing 3 different properties depending on where you are in the building.||For a property this size, there’s no “proper” restaurant, which is a real miss. The gym is tiny and cramped, and I think the WiFi is probably the worst I’ve experienced anywhere; the fact that there is a dedicated WiFi support button on the phone tells me I may not be alone in that. ||This is where it makes no sense - no real restaurant , yet millions of dollars have clearly been spent to put a really nice sky bar at the top of the hotel, although it feels like they forgot to include the bathrooms as you go

Great location! Only a few blocks from Union Square and public transit including the streetcar turnaround point, easily walkable to downtown businesses if you're here for work. The cityscape lounge upstairs opens at 4 and is a great way to end the evening looking at panoramic of the city from up high at sunset or lit up in the evening. I was in Tower one and loved the balcony facing Salesforce Tower - I would lie in the bed with the curtains open watching the lights change in the evening, and the morning light of sunrise in the morning. I was impressed with the bathroom and that there is a large counter, a shelf underneath the sink the length of the counter, a drawer for the hair dryer, a hook right next to the shower for towels, and yay a hook for a washcloth inside the shower as well as
