Hilton Garden Inn Worcester

The pillows are not even remotely firm, the shower was bad (I can’t stand curtain showers but that is more of a personal preference) but it also had no water pressure and was either too hot or too cold, the bed was fine. It has a mediocre but convenient restaurant connected to it. The front desk staff were helpful but the housekeepers either didn’t speak a word of English or were rude. Also this hotel allows large non service dogs so if you’re allergic and cynophobic like me, this is not the hotel for you. I would only stay at this hotel again because it is right across the street from the reason I come to Worcester yearly in the first place and it’s still an upgrade over the hotel I stayed at last year.

Overall good stay at this hotel and next door to DCU for us to attend college graduation there. The hotel was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The rooms were large with comfy beds and in good condition. First floor of the hotel had good business work rooms, nice pool area and good exercise room. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Went down in the afternoon for coffee in the lobby, none available as tb GG hat time but desk gave us pods and that worked out OK. The parking garage across the road was convenient but charge like 14$ a day...got the tickets from front desk for when we would leave the parking lot. Paid parking is available in a garage across the street. The room was spacious and had a mini fridge, but also came with a strange, stale odor. The bottled waters in the room are $2.00 each if you're not a silver, gold, or diamond member. The bathroom is where things really went sideways. The shower gel and conditioner dispensers were empty (it's not too convenient to realize there's no soap when you're already in the shower), and either some very tall human placed their false eyelash high up on the wall, or they sneezed very hard and it came off, landing there. The location is very convenient.

Positive: "" Negative: The biggest issue was how thin the walls are. I was woken up several times by staff talking ridiculously loud in the hallways, and woken up by a neighbor coughing. Walls should not be so thin that everything can be heard. Especially for this price.

The hotel lobby and hallways seem to be ok and worn but when you open the door to the room it is gaudy overload! The rooms definitely need to be updated. The bed was uncomfortable and just old. The pictures on the wall seem updated while the decorative features are so gaudy and outdated. The hotel rooms feel like an old school motel that has not been updated. The tv turned on but every channel is off-line so watching TV was not possible. The breakfast buffet was unlike other HGI's with dried up meats and overcooked eggs and the only option for fresh cooked eggs was from the a la carte menu in addition to the buffet. Lastly, while it is convenient to have a restaurant attached to the hotel, UNO's, you cannot charge meals to your room thus, losing Hilton honors points. This hotel is past
