enVision Hotel Worcester Downtown

The staff were very friendly and check-in process went smoothly. Rooms are clean but nothing to brag about. They are definitely outdated and mattresses are not comfortable Most importantly, the hotel currently acts as a homeless shelter so expect to see homeless people around the lobby area, in front of the hotel, using all the amenities, and sitting with you at breakfast. Would not recommend staying with kids. (Stayed in July 2023)

First I'd like to say that the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to be doing the best they can. But traveller beware - this is not a nice hotel. Ugly, dated, and sketchy decor. My heater did not work (could not turn it off) so at one point it was 75 in the room (in March) the window did not open, the bathroom was yucky, I had a bucket catching water under the sink, it was loud, no soundproofing, so the highway, drunks in the hallway, and even just other room conversations kept me up. The breakfast was not edible. Eggs tasted like chemicals, dry rolls, terrible coffee. Again, the attendant was wonderful, the hotel did not give him anything to work with. We booked our stay back in July for this weekend and when we arrived it was a dump. The hallways were covered in filth. Our room looked destroyed, the tv was hanging off the mount, the fire alarm was hanging off the wall. The walls in the bathroom were covered with white filth, with mold in the shower caulking. The bedskirts had stains on them. The pillows had makeup stains and hair on them and in them. The furniture was damaged. Do not waste your money here. We were there a total of two hours until we couldn’t stand the disarray. We packed our things and brought it to the car and went to the front desk to tell them we are unpleased and will not be staying the night. The front desk worker said we had been here for longer than 4 hours which is our allowed time for a refund. When he checked

This location is absolutely horrible. There should be a disclaimer that this hotel is a subsidized homeless center / refuge before booking. The maintenance and upkeep of this hotel is also horrible. There is a difference between needing renovations and not keeping up with general maintenance. The bathroom was horrible kept, scratched wall paper that was peeling off, mold on the ceiling, rust in the shower tub floor, rust on the lighting fixtures, and cigarette burns on the bed comforter. Even outside the room there in the hallways, they’re are crumbs all over the floor. Would never stay here — this is the first hotel I flipped my mattress to check for bed bugs. This place is actually disgusting and absolutely doesn’t meet the quality standard of the Holiday Inn brand.

They charged my room on my debit card 2 more times after my check in by mistake, take $454 out of my account , I went to order food that night my card got declined , I could eat it left me with $34 on my debit card with no cash available to me . Said they were sorry and it would take a couple of days to fix! Also the 4 th floor where I was staying 406, smelled so bad of marijuana it reeked all night , i called the front desk that said they would ck it out, they never did, the room had no alarm clock, horrible experience!! I asked for a manager , they said there isn’t one on duty, I asked for corps office number , we don’t have it! Very poor customer service and accommodating people!
