Hampton Inn & Suites Worcester

I stay at the Hampton Inn every few months and usually have an excellent stay. The hotel itself is modern and clean and the free breakfast is very convenient and well stocked. Staff is friendly and there are 24 hour snacks available in the lobby (great for my low blood sugar as a diabetic!). This past time I stayed though, it looked like the room wasn’t cleaned ahead of time. Towels were missing and there were short hairs all over the shower. I’m not sure if it was missed in cleaning or just not done throughly. Hoping for a better experience next time as my stay is usually very pleasant.

Quiet location. Got it on priceline and the rates were very reasonable. Good breakfast. Coffee all day. Room was nice and all appliances worked including hvac. Parking is $15/day, which is typical of northeastern states. At least it wasn't $25/day like on Long Island. The last night I was there, the fire alarm went off. Firefighters were there in 2 minutes flat! It took a while for them to let us back in. Turned out someone plugged in their electric bike in their room and the battery started smoking. So, I can attest that the smoke detectors work! The lobby had very nice Christmas decorations out.

I was visiting my son at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester and the team here looked after me really well. Car parking is brilliant and plenty of spaces, the desk team are really helpful and friendly and booked me in for an extra night with an early check in when I was feeling jet lagged ! The breakfast was fresh, varied and of good quality and coffee strong to get you going in the morning! The rooms were all of high standard, with fresh sheets and fresh towels. The toiletries in the bathroom were of a high standard. Overall a great all rounder and will be staying here again!

I love staying at Hampton Inns on our travels, and our stay at this location has been quite comfortable with the Exception of the noisy occupants in the room above ours! Loud footsteps were heard and felt up until a bit after midnight, and now have begun again at 5:15 AM! Thankfully my husband is a deep sleeper and hasn’t been disturbed. I’m sure this is likely an unusual occurrence, and I don’t want to bother the front desk staff at this early hour with any sort of complaint….plus It won’t be a deterrent from future Hampton Inn stays. Update - Now it’s 5:45 AM and all seems quiet. Yay!! I’m wishing those folks safe travels.
