Hilton Garden Inn Woodbridge

Fantastic hotel - everyone we encountered was helpful, courteous, kind, and all the staff were working so hard this weekend. Yesterday, was probably not an average day for this hotel at all - hundreds of people descended on this hotel to welcome the monks on their Walk for Peace. Was parking a challenge because of this? Yes, but it was no fault of the hotel at all.. they did a fantastic job trying to accommodate everyone and I was incredibly impressed. This was an opportunity of a lifetime and I'll never forget it. Thank you, Hilton in Woodbridge and to all your wonderful staff. You were wonderful!

So this was our second stay at this Hilton Garden Inn. The check in was a little wait due to them having an event plus it being holiday. My room was clean and fresh smelling. We don't watch the same programs so we got a Jr suite. The hotel does have a microwave etc. They also provide in the shower room body soap, shampoo, hand or body lotion. But they do not provide folks or plates in the room. Also there isn't a free breakfast .||Its in a great location with a host of eateries to enjoy. Not very far from the location. "Note" if you order food they will not allow them to come up to your room . In which is a bonus for me. Needless to say we will be returning .

Great location and clean

The Walk for Peace was graciously and efficiently hosted by this hotel with about 24 hrs notice and they handled the event beautifully. The staff were kind and helpful, the manager set the tone for a welcoming and respectful atmosphere. It also happens to have exceptionally designed rooms and facilities and a hospitable, helpful staff. The monks and nuns and their entourage were in great hands and even Aloka was welcomed by this dog-friendly establishment. Highly recommended.

What an exceptional staff! It was clearly all hands on deck during my stay, and I was truly impressed. I stayed at this property to be in the presence of the monks walking 2,300 miles in the Walk for Peace. They announced their stay just 24 hours before arriving on-site, and from what I understand, that was when they contacted the hotel to see if accommodations were possible. The monks were nearing the end of their pilgrimage, so the crowds were growing larger in every city they visited — and Woodbridge was no exception. Despite subzero temperatures, people waited outside for five hours just to catch a glimpse of this special moment.
