Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center

I stayed here a couple of nights to attend a conference at UNC-W which was about 10 minutes away. This hotel is in a great location, a 4 minute walk to Harris Teeter grocery store. I stayed on the third floor. The bed is super comfortable and I loved it. The room came with a mini fridge and a microwave, which I loved. The room was clean for the most part, the fridge had someone else’s food in it but I just ignored it. The ice machine was at the end of the hall which I thought was an interesting placement, but I did use it. The people working were nice and helpful. The shower and water pressure was about average. Breakfast is not included but I ended up buying some stuff at the grocery store to heat up in my room anyway. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience!

The staff were nice but I would not recommend staying here to my worst enemy. We paid for our trip in February, our stay was this October. However when we went to check out he moron at the front desk said that the card was declined both is not true because the trip was already confirmed to be paid for. My wife’s card was charged an additional time so we were charged 3 times in total for our stay. I still have not received my credit back from when I was charged Again. ||||I would never stay here again, the staff here are running a scam.

We have always loved staying in this hotel when we visit Wilmington. And this stay was especially awesome from front desk Te’Ara going out of her way to assist me with installing my grandbaby’s car seat in our rental to Noah pouring me milk in a cup because they were out of it in the small containers for purchase and then to Sherry the bartender giving impeccable service. These three people are so outstanding and Hilton is lucky to have them. They made our stay this time motivate me enough to leave a review. We’ve always liked this hotel for cleanliness and location but when there are people like this who go out of their way to make sure all is well, they should be recognized. So thank you so much Te’Ara, Noah and Sherry. You all make us want to come back even more.

My stay here was wonderful. I stayed 4 nights, and the location was excellent. The staff were all accommodating, very friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and spacious. I will be staying here when visiting ILM from now on!
