Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port

Our stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We waited over an hour in the sun at the airport for the hotel shuttle. When we finally arrived, the lobby was chaotic — full of guests with canceled flights and others waiting for rooms to be ready. We asked about early check-in but were told there was a long list ahead of us and that we would receive a call when our room was ready. We waited in the lobby for five hours. At 4:00pm we approached the desk to check again and were told, “Yes, your room has been ready — didn’t you receive a call?” No, we did not receive a call. We had been sitting in the lobby the entire time. We had a group of 10 people with 5 separate reservations, and check-in was a mess. I was nearly charged the full amount again despite having prepaid. Renovated since my last stay a few years ago, the hotel is still a good choice if visiting the area. It's in a great location just of the I-95 and walking distance to many shops and restaurants at Dania Pointe including a big Nike store.||The lobby is now very open plan and welcoming, the check-in desk has been completed re-done, perhaps a little too open plan from a staff point of view. Allocated a room on the 6th floor which was nicely decorated and with plenty of space and bright. The bed was clean and very comfortable. Note that housekeeping is now every other day of your stay.||The bathroom was standard Hilton Garden Inn, you could be anywhere ! The fixtures in the bathroom was already a little worn and in need of some TLC but perfectly usable. Plenty of towels and lots of counter

Positive: Great location, very clean hotel, and everybody was very friendly, including Cooper at the front desk. Negative: Breakfast at the hotel, which was included in our hotel cost, was horrible. Absence of any type of service that you would expect. I had to ask for orange juice, they were supposed to bring two, only brought one. They never gave water or Cleaned the table.

The only hotel with a 24 hour shuttle to airport. We were pleased with our stay. The hotel has a high turnover /occupancy rate due to the cruise ships. The staff was exceptional at helping people with all sorts of matters. |The hotel is older, needs some cosmetic work, had to take a pure hot water shower, conditioner bottle was empty,had to request more than 2 bath towels, no towels were at the pool (busy).|The location was amazing with a safe vibrant shopping / dining area within walking distance. Also close to the airports.|Would recommend for a short stay. No safes in rooms.

Had to stay here when I realized I messed up my flight dates for a bachelorette party. Overall, it’s not a bad place to stay. Checking in was quick and easy. The lobby looks updated and nice. Upon entry, my room had a small “musky” scent and the air felt muggy but that went away after a while. Water pressure is okay and there is hot water it just takes awhile to heat. Also a 24 hour shuttle to the airport is very convenient. If I had to stay in Ft. Lauderdale again I’d definitely consider rebooking.
