Hilton Des Moines Downtown

Great hotel, spacious and comfortable. Not a fan of the restaurant food, but our server was AWESOME!! The grab and go was easy and the grocery store was only a half a mile away, which was walkable. Staff was professional and friendly.The skywalk was very convenient to get to our event at the convention center, and was quite warm as well.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.||The rooms are modern and smart, plenty of storage and a decent sized telly. The beds are super comfortable and the shower was spacious and beautifully warm.||The shuttle bus service is absolutely top drawer and I cannot praise the hotel enough for this, a major selling point and one that other hotels would be wise to consider.||Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about but not bad either, the service team was friendly and knowledgeable.||The hotel itself is pretty close to a five star rating from myself, it missed out from me due to the outrageously priced convenience section, 3 bottles of drink (2 of which was water) for over 20 bucks is unacceptable to me, I know I didn’t have to pay it but as a person based outside of the country and also late at n

I have traveled for work for over 20 years. I have been all over the United states. I am so incredibly impressed with this hotel. From the wait staff in the restaurant to staff in the lobby directing traffic and assisting guests with a smile. I may just go to DesMoines for fun just so I can stay at this hotel again. Larry, the general manager, called me when I left a message regarding my stay. Just simply IMPRESSED! And....I never write reviews!

All is good, people very helpful and warm. Very good shuttle to airport, just not sure why they gave me a room at 2nd floor which is actually on a platform for ventilation or warming system equipment, kind of noisy but I am on jet lag and can’t sleep well anyway.

Excellent service! Special shout out to Otiz in housekeeping, Emma and Naomi at the front desk.♡♡♡ Very accommodating, clean, quiet and the skywalk to the convention center was very convenient. Never have to go outside but the weather was great during my February visit so being outside was really nice.
