AC Hotel Des Moines East Village

This hotel is perfect for a girls weekend. The room was absolutely stunning! It felt fun, elevated, and cozy all at the same time. The customer service was just as amazing as the room. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and truly made us feel taken care of the entire stay. Connor was exceptional and attentive to our needs! Everything was easy, smooth, and stress-free—which is exactly what you want on a girls trip. We had the best time and would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend for a fun, memorable weekend with your girls!

First a big shout out to Shalantha at the Front Desk, she went above and beyond when it comes to service. We were going to get an Uber ride and found that we did not have masks, she took the time to look all around then found a couple of them for us so we can continue to enjoy our evening. Second - every staff member that we pass from housekeeping to maintenance said hello, good morning and how is your stay. Many hotels i go too you barely get eye contact, let alone a genuine greeting and concern on how your visit is going. Finally - the Bartenders and managers on the 6th floor are amazing. Great drinks, even though it was late, still suggesting food and picking out some great options. Plus giving us some suggestions for Brunch the next day. Very welcoming on a busy night. Also,

The only option to stay in a hotel in Des Moines! The AC Hotel by Marriott Des Moines Downtown has incredible style—modern, sleek, and well designed. The rooms felt perfect and were insanely clean, easily some of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. The upstairs bar was amazing with views of the Iowa State Capitol. The staff throughout the entire hotel was amazing, and we also had the pleasure of meeting Connor Adamson, the general manager and operating partner, who was extremely hospitable and welcoming. We had a great time downtown and truly felt taken care of the entire stay. Highly recommend.

I stayed alone on business. Very safe atmosphere. Good restaurant/bar on site. Very clean and good service. Up to date and modern. Underground garage but extra cost. Breakfast is extra. Would stay again. Many restaurants and shops in walking distance.

I loved this place. I was going to stay at the Element so I could do laundry but when I called this property to ask some questions they mentioned their suites have a washer and dryer. That was so awesome. I do laundry mid week so I don’t have to check a bag. Having the washer and dryer in the unit was absolutely amazing. I stayed here 3 weeks ago so I don’t remember all the details. The staff were awesome. The photos are the 2 bedroom suite a stayed in so there is a pic of each bedroom. The one negative thing that stood out is the couch is extremely uncomfortable. The back of the couch is straight up and down. It is completely dreadful. I never understand why people purchase things like a couch for esthetics rather than comfort. There is a photo of each bedroom and each bathroom. The
