HERMITAGE HOTEL RICHMOND I-64 exit

Absolutely disgusting. This place should be condemned and reported to the BBB. I don't think our room has been cleaned since Alexander Hamilton dueled Aaron Burr. There was dirt and dust and ash all over the carpet, Cigarette butts everywhere. The Door lock was broken and replaced with 4 Batteries, the Handle on the dresser was a shoe string. Theres no TV Remote or in Room Phone. Half the downstairs was already Locked up with "Unfit for human habitation" on them. The Elevator was broken. The staff was rude and reclusive. The Towels in the bathroom were all very dirty with no Rags. The Advertised Free Breakfast didn't exist, tho I'm not sure I'd have wanted to eat it after everything else. Its a miracle we didn't see any bed bugs. All I can say good about it is its right next to the highw

Positive: The location was convenient Negative: part of the hotel was under construction; there was hardly anyone at the dest; no wi-fi password was provided; a free breaksfast was advertised on the hotel site, but there was none, no room service was provided (I stayed two nights)

This hotel was a great stay. I had a great time. I felt very comfortable. The room was very clean no roaches no mice’s in the rooms nor anything dirty. They have clean bedsheets, clean pillows and pillowcases. They have a fridge with a microwave which is a plus , This hotel is being renovated and I’m so proud of the work that they are putting in to make the hotel a better place. Customer services is a plus. If you need anything, they are there to give you anything that you need. Maria is a very great cleaning service lady. She is very sweet and very helpful.

This hotel was a great stay , very clean , great customer service , balcony is a plus , very quiet area. Very respectful people around the area. Great foods close by ! The photos are most definitely old pictures. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve stepped foot in. I got here late for business and the front desk staff was cold and unpleasant. Half the rooms were closed and the numbers were painted over. There was no elevator. The lobby had yellow tape as well as the parking ramp due to a crime that occurred earlier in the year (I read from other reviews). The fitness room was boarded up. The entire place smelled like smoke. The lobby was freezing cold and dark. The place seemed abandoned. I left for another hotel after seeing my room. I didn’t feel safe and knew I would not feel comfortable staying in that dingy nasty room. I can’t believe it is still open.
